About OKAMFT

OkAMFT strives to provide a collaborative voice and presence that promotes the profession of Marriage and Family Therapy and the well being of those we serve through education, information, and support. The Oklahoma Association for Marriage and Family Therapy is a division of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. The Oklahoma Division currently has approximately 244 members. Membership categories include Clinical Fellow, Pre-Clinical Fellow, Member, Associate Member, Student, and Affiliate.

OKAMFT provides continuing education opportunities for members and other mental health professionals through an annual conference in the spring. Trainings focus on theory, clinical application, and ethics.

OKAMFT helps members organize legislative efforts to advocate for:

Quality and availability of mental health services for Oklahomans.
Continuance of high clinical and ethical standards for the profession.
Opportunities to network with other MFTs for support and accountability.
